“Let not forget, Farke will still be sack despite promotion because….”- Leeds United legend’s honest thoughts on Daniel Farke as boss’ job hangs in balance despite promotion

Leeds United Icon Stuart Dallas Shares His Thoughts on Daniel Farke’s Future Amid Uncertainty Over His Job

Amid growing speculation about Daniel Farke’s future at Leeds United, the club sent a strong message with a dominant 4-0 victory over Bristol City on Monday evening.

Goals from Ao Tanaka, Wilfried Gnonto, and a late brace from substitute Largie Ramazani brought Leeds closer to the Championship title, leaving them needing to match Burnley’s result on the final day to secure the title on goal difference.

Despite securing promotion to the Premier League, rumors surfaced last week suggesting that Leeds could part ways with Farke this summer, with the possibility of a return to Norwich City for the German manager.

Stuart Dallas Weighs in on Farke’s Future at Leeds United

After Leeds’ heartbreaking play-off final defeat to Southampton last summer, many believed Farke’s job was at risk.

However, the German coach turned things around, guiding the team to automatic promotion and breaking several records previously set under Marcelo Bielsa.

Before the win over Bristol City, Leeds legend Stuart Dallas, a key player under Bielsa, shared his thoughts on Farke’s uncertain future.

Speaking as a pundit for Sky Sports, Dallas praised Farke for his work, especially considering the loss of key players from last season.

“Let’s not forget, he lost three of his best players from last season—Crysencio Summerville, Archie Gray, and Georginio Ruiter,” Dallas said.

“What he’s achieved this year deserves so much credit. I think it would be really harsh to sack him.”

Dallas acknowledged that fans have mixed feelings about Farke’s future, particularly due to his past record at Norwich, where he struggled to maintain Premier League survival.

Concerns Over Farke’s Premier League Record

While Leeds and Burnley both know the challenges they face in staying up next season, Farke’s comments suggest the club intends to spend wisely to become an established Premier League team.

However, his previous tenure in the top flight raises concerns.

Farke’s record in the Premier League is worrying, having been dismissed shortly after his first Premier League victory with Norwich.

Across two stints at Carrow Road, Farke won just six out of 49 Premier League matches, accumulating only 26 points from a possible 147—an alarming statistic that has caught the attention of the club’s ownership.

As Leeds prepare for their return to the Premier League, the pressure is on Farke to prove he can succeed at the highest level, with uncertainty still hanging over his future.
