Keys Criticizes Karren Brady’s Comments on Leeds’ Promotion
Leeds’ promotion has attracted widespread attention, extending beyond Championship followers to the broader football community.
West Ham vice-chair Karren Brady weighed in with a column in The Sun, offering advice to Leeds and Burnley on how to avoid becoming a “yo-yo” club.
But Richard Keys wasn’t impressed. The former Sky Sports anchor mocked Brady’s commentary, calling it “a joke” and suggested Leeds should ignore her advice entirely.
“She was giving advice to Leeds and Burnley in her column at the weekend,” Keys wrote on his personal website (April 28). “My advice would be for both clubs to listen carefully – and then do the opposite. What a joke.”
Farke’s Future Under Review as Marathe Arrives for Talks
As Leeds prepare for Premier League football, internal evaluations have begun. Chairman Paraag Marathe is flying in from San Francisco ahead of Leeds’ match against Bristol City at Elland Road on Monday, April 28.
Marathe will watch the match and then meet with Farke later in the week to discuss the manager’s plans for the Premier League.
Although some within the 49ers group have doubts about Farke’s ability to manage in the top flight, the final decision lies with Marathe.
Leeds have reportedly begun exploring alternative managerial options, including Giovanni van Bronckhorst and two other candidates, should they decide to part ways with the former Norwich City boss.
