Richarlison is reportedly on Everton’s radar for a potential return to Goodison Park this summer, as his stint at Tottenham Hotspur appears to be nearing its end.
The Friedkin Group has seen the positive impact of bringing familiar figures back to Merseyside, particularly after David Moyes’ reappointment, and may be open to the idea of welcoming the Brazilian forward once again.
Richarlison has struggled to secure consistent playing time at Spurs, with injuries hampering his progress. Although he started in Thursday night’s Europa League clash, manager Ange Postecoglou substituted him at halftime, despite the forward assisting Brennan Johnson’s opening goal.
With a move likely on the cards, Richarlison has fueled speculation by regularly engaging with Everton-related content on social media. On Friday, he reposted a display by The 1878s, which featured him among Everton legends, and captioned it with three blue heart emojis on Instagram.
Everton, who recently lost out to Tottenham in the race for Fabio Paratici behind the scenes, could turn the tables by re-signing Richarlison for a fraction of the £60 million they received when he left in 2022.
The forward has kept close ties with the Toffees and, if he departs Spurs this summer, reportedly prefers to stay in the Premier League. With his eyes set on a place in Brazil’s 2026 World Cup squad, staying at a competitive level is a top priority.
While some Everton supporters remain divided about his return, it’s clear Richarlison still holds the club close to his heart.
