Following the win, Jarrod Bowen took to Instagram (11 May) to describe the victory as the “Perfect away day.”
The England international has now registered 11 goals and seven assists in 32 Premier League matches this season, with five goal involvements coming in his last four appearances.
Despite West Ham’s struggles this campaign—marked by 16 league losses—Bowen has consistently been a standout performer.
Hammers Aiming to Finish Strong
The win at Old Trafford offers a much-needed morale boost for West Ham, who recently endured an eight-game winless streak. The result could be the spark needed to close out the season on a high.
Their next opponents, Nottingham Forest, have seen their European hopes fade following a three-game winless run.
West Ham will then wrap up the campaign with an away trip to face already-relegated Ipswich on the final day.
Potter, who has won four of his seven games since taking charge, now has a strong chance to improve that record further in the final two matches.
He’ll then turn his attention to bolstering the squad during the summer transfer window.
