Among those celebrating Leeds’ return to the Premier League was Raphinha, who sent his congratulations to the club back in April. Despite leaving Elland Road three years ago—after a two-season stint—the Brazilian winger remains a fan favorite in West Yorkshire.
Leeds Celebrate Raphinha’s La Liga Success
Leeds didn’t miss the opportunity to return the gesture, congratulating Raphinha on his latest achievement with Barcelona. The Spanish giants sealed the La Liga title with a 2-0 victory over Espanyol on May 15, wrapping up the championship with two games to spare.

The 28-year-old remains one of Leeds’ standout signings from their 2020 Premier League return. During his time at Elland Road, he notched 17 goals and 12 assists in 67 appearances.
