Regarding Haaland’s decision to pass the penalty, Shearer added: “I wouldn’t give up a penalty in a cup final—no chance.”

Henderson was fortunate not to receive a red card earlier in the game after handling the ball outside the box to deny Haaland.
VAR reviewed the incident but deemed it not a clear goal-scoring opportunity, allowing Henderson to stay on the field. That bit of luck could prove essential for Palace’s chances to win at Wembley.
