West Ham United are reportedly lining up an ambitious summer swoop for Chelsea forward Christopher Nkunku, according to journalist Anthony Chapman.
The Hammers are one of four Premier League clubs monitoring the French international, who is said to be actively pushing for a move away from Stamford Bridge just two years after joining Chelsea from RB Leipzig in a £52 million deal.
With a major squad overhaul expected under new manager Graham Potter, West Ham are believed to be firmly in the race for Nkunku’s signature, with the 27-year-old emerging as a key transfer target for the upcoming window.

Chapman reports that Potter has identified Nkunku as a marquee signing to spearhead his rebuild at the London Stadium.
However, West Ham will face tough competition, with Premier League rivals Arsenal, Manchester United, and Liverpool, as well as European heavyweights PSG and Atletico Madrid, all expressing interest.
Chelsea, for their part, are reportedly more inclined to sell Nkunku to a foreign club to avoid strengthening a domestic rival.
