Despite rumors suggesting Forest could be open to selling him for £43 million, that valuation appears questionable. Elanga’s latest Instagram post — “Still on a mission… thanks for the continuous support,” along with a tree and red heart emoji — hints that he may be committed to continuing his journey at Forest. Still, nothing is confirmed.
Forest in a Strong Financial Position
In the past, Forest have needed to sell players to comply with Premier League Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR). While this could still be a factor, the expected £70 million sale of Morgan Gibbs-White to Manchester City should give the club financial breathing room.
With that potential windfall, Forest would be in a solid position to reinvest while holding onto key talents like Elanga and Murillo — a contrast to last summer’s departure of Brennan Johnson.
