Everton Keen to Sign ‘Unbelievable’ £100,000-a-Week Star From PL Rivals

Everton Eyeing Summer Move for Spurs Midfielder Yves Bissouma

Everton have expressed interest in signing Tottenham midfielder Yves Bissouma this summer, according to journalist Ben Jacobs.

The Mali international has already been linked with newly promoted Leeds United, and Everton may now be preparing to join the race as they face changes in their midfield.

With veteran Abdoulaye Doucouré set to leave upon the expiry of his contract and loan signing Orel Mangala due to return to Lyon at the end of June, the Toffees are looking to strengthen in the centre of the park.

Speaking on Last Word on Spurs, Jacobs noted the growing interest in Bissouma:

“Bissouma is aware of the amount of interest he’s receiving. I’m told Everton could also enter the picture, especially as they’re about to lose a few midfielders and are actively looking to reinforce that position.”

Bissouma, who arrived at Spurs from Brighton in 2022, has struggled to secure consistent playing time this season. He started 16 Premier League matches and made 12 additional appearances from the bench.

With his contract at Tottenham running until June 2026, his future is expected to be decided in the coming months.

The 28-year-old, often described as “unbelievable” for his technical and physical attributes, fits the profile Everton are targeting — players with proven top-flight experience as the club moves into a new era at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

In addition to midfield reinforcements, Everton are also exploring defensive upgrades.

According to GIVEMESPORT, the club has made initial contact regarding the availability of Manchester City defender John Stones.

The England international, who began his career at Everton, is being considered as a high-level addition to complement James Tarkowski and Jarrad Branthwaite at the heart of the defence.
