Aston Villa Confirm List of Released Players, Including Robin Olsen and Kortney Hause
Aston Villa have officially confirmed the departure of 13 players as their contracts come to an end this summer, with goalkeeper Robin Olsen and defender Kortney Hause among those moving on.
With the summer transfer window expected to be a busy one for the club, both in terms of new arrivals and departures, Villa have opted not to extend the deals of several players, signalling the end of their time at the club.
According to the Premier League’s official list, the following players have left either on a free transfer or after being released:

Among those departing are several promising academy players, some of whom showed real potential before injuries or limited opportunities hampered their progress.
The club hopes they can find new opportunities elsewhere to continue their development and careers.
Kobei Moore stood out with his performances at youth level, and there were once high expectations for signings like Ajani Burchall and Rico Richards, but ultimately, the decision has been made to part ways.
Robin Olsen, who played a key supporting role behind first-choice goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez, will return to Malmö.
Despite some mixed performances, his professionalism and reliability as a backup may be difficult to replace if Villa need someone willing to take on that role again this season.
As for Kortney Hause, the 29-year-old centre-back endured several injury setbacks in recent years after joining the club in 2019.
He made 55 appearances in total, and the club now hopes he can find a new path to continue playing as he approaches his 30th birthday next month.
