Everton Open Talks for “World-Class” Defender, Eyeing Summer Squad Overhaul
Everton Interested in Richarlison Return
Everton are preparing for significant squad changes this summer, with both new arrivals and player departures expected.
One name drawing attention is Richarlison, a fan favorite during his previous stint at Goodison Park. The Brazilian forward, who scored 53 goals in 152 appearances for the club, could be in line for a dramatic return.
Currently at Tottenham, Richarlison has struggled to find consistency, partly due to injuries, and Everton are reportedly considering bringing him back. Supporters will be hopeful that the 27-year-old feels he has unfinished business on Merseyside.
Other Transfer Targets
Alongside Richarlison, Everton are eyeing reinforcements across the pitch.
Former Manchester United midfielder Fred, now with Fenerbahce, is seen as a strong option to bolster the midfield. Young attacker Adama Bojang, who plays for Grasshopper Zurich, is another name linked with a move.
Everton Make Contact Over Kyle Walker Signing
According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Everton have reached out regarding the possible signing of Manchester City defender Kyle Walker.
The veteran right-back could leave City this summer, and Everton are exploring a move to bring him to Goodison Park.
Walker, now 35, is nearing the twilight of his career but still offers top-level experience, incredible pace, and a winning mentality.
A six-time Premier League champion and Champions League winner, the England international remains a formidable presence in defence.
City boss Pep Guardiola has previously praised Walker’s physical attributes and leadership, noting:
“As a footballer, he has a unique physicality that’s unmatched. He’s also become more mature, both on and off the pitch.”
Though his wage demands may pose a challenge for Everton, securing Walker would represent a significant coup.
His arrival would not only bring a wealth of experience but also serve as a major upgrade at right-back, potentially offering the Blues a couple of valuable seasons as they rebuild.
