Huddersfield Town have added to their defensive ranks by bringing in Josh Feeney on loan from Aston Villa for the upcoming 2025/26 campaign.
Since taking charge in late May, manager Lee Grant has prioritized reinforcing his backline. Feeney becomes the third defensive addition to arrive at the John Smith’s Stadium within a week, underlining Grant’s intent to build a promotion-contending squad.
Grant Explains Move for Feeney
Speaking to the club’s official website, Grant shared his enthusiasm about securing the 19-year-old centre-back.
“We’re really pleased to welcome Josh to Huddersfield Town,” Grant said. “He’s a talented young defender with a full season of League One experience under his belt.
