Sunderland’s Milan Aleksic Linked with Loan Return to Serbia
Milan Aleksic has found regular playing time hard to come by at Sunderland since joining from FK Radnički last summer, and reports from Serbia suggest he may now be heading back home.
According to Telegraf, the agent of the Serbian U21 international is currently in talks with Sunderland to arrange a loan move to Partizan Belgrade.
While Aleksic was reportedly hesitant at first about rejoining his former club, his position has softened due to limited opportunities on the pitch—an issue that could worsen now that Sunderland have earned promotion to the Premier League.
It remains unclear whether the loan deal will include a purchase option, but Telegraf reports that if negotiations progress smoothly, Aleksic could be available to Partizan manager Srđan Blagojević later this week.
