Everton are reportedly targeting Jack Grealish as their second signing of the summer transfer window, as manager David Moyes looks to add firepower to his squad ahead of the new season.

Everton’s hopes of landing the 29-year-old have been boosted by recent developments. Despite earlier reports linking Grealish with a move to Napoli, Fabrizio Romano has clarified that the Serie A club is no longer pursuing the England international.
Speaking on his YouTube channel, Romano said:
“What I can tell you is that, from my understanding, between Napoli and Jack Grealish – despite English rumours – there is nothing concrete. Nothing serious, as Napoli are focused on different targets.”
Grealish was left out of Manchester City’s squad for the upcoming Club World Cup, and Pep Guardiola has hinted that the winger could leave this summer in search of regular first-team football.
Whether that’s via a loan or a permanent deal remains uncertain, but City are reportedly open to negotiations despite his previous £100 million price tag.
Everton’s Summer Business Set to Accelerate
So far, it’s been a relatively quiet start to the window for the Toffees, with several contract situations still unresolved.
Striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin is expected to move on once his contract expires, further underlining the need for reinforcements in attack.
Everton are anticipated to ramp up their transfer activity towards the end of June and into July.
With their new stadium nearing completion, the club hopes that improved facilities—and the allure of Premier League football—can help attract top talent.
