Leeds United’s summer transfer window has shifted into a higher gear in recent days.
The arrivals of Jaka Bijol, Sebastiaan Bornauw, and Lukas Nmecha provided a strong start, though things had temporarily gone quiet on the transfer front.
That lull now appears to be over, with momentum reignited by the signing of Swedish full-back Gabriel Gudmundsson.

According to The Athletic (July 18), Leeds have expressed interest in Getafe forward Christantus Uche.
The 22-year-old Nigerian has a release clause of approximately £21.5 million in his contract. While Leeds reportedly made initial contact weeks ago, no deal is currently close.
Uche would add valuable depth to Farke’s frontline. Although primarily used as a centre-forward for Getafe last season, he’s versatile enough to operate as an attacking midfielder or left winger.
In his debut La Liga campaign, Uche registered four goals and six assists, showing promise in multiple attacking roles.
While Piroe is likely to remain Leeds’ main striker, Uche could serve as a strong alternative to Brenden Aaronson—or even line up alongside him in a shadow striker role, operating just behind the lead forward and making dangerous late runs.
Whether Leeds can strike a deal remains to be seen, as Getafe’s willingness to negotiate below the release clause is currently unclear.
