Ramsey has struggled for consistent game time under Unai Emery at Villa Park, and with the player having come through Villa’s academy, a potential sale would offer financial advantages to Villa under the Premier League’s Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR).

Former Villa manager Steven Gerrard once described Ramsey as “outstanding,” and while the 23-year-old has slipped down the pecking order, he remains a highly regarded talent with top-flight experience.
Villa’s qualification for the Europa League may influence negotiations, but Forest are unlikely to meet a £50 million valuation outright, meaning a more reasonable deal would need to be struck.
