England international Jude Bellingham recently discussed his younger brother Jobe, the rising star at Sunderland. Jude expressed his concern that people might judge Jobe’s career based on his own achievements, which he feels is unfair.
In the second episode of his YouTube documentary series, Jude said, “I worry that people will assess him through my successes. I’m very aware of this because it’s something people will always use against him, and it’s not fair. He’s an incredible talent and a remarkable player in his own right. We’re each other’s biggest supporters, but also targets for criticism because we care so much about one another.”
Jude acknowledged that Jobe faces pressures at a young age that he didn’t experience, praising Jobe for handling it with grace. “He wants to forge his own legacy. Ultimately, his happiness is what matters most to me.”
Jude also shared his dream of playing alongside Jobe for the England national team. He has already established himself with 36 senior caps and five goals since debuting in late 2020, while Jobe is currently part of England’s U20 squad.
Jude added, “Playing with my brother for England would be my greatest dream. It would mean more to me than any trophy, especially if we could do it consistently and win together at major tournaments. Nothing would come close to that.”
