After the game, Mayenda expressed on social media, “Good performance from the team today at home. Amazing atmosphere at SOL. Seguimos.” The term “seguimos” can mean “we follow” or “we continue” in Spanish.
Le Bris commended his players for bouncing back from their first defeat of the season. He noted, “It was tough after the loss, but I didn’t think the dynamic had changed. The players remained engaged and eager to improve. We discussed our game model extensively.”
He also mentioned the challenges faced during the match, particularly in addressing Middlesbrough’s tactics. “It was a difficult game, especially when they overloaded our left side. Our team showed a strong desire to work together to address those issues.”
