“Shocking Valuation: Jobe Bellingham Worth Less Than Samed. Discover the Surprising Figures

Sunderland boasts one of the Championship’s top talents in 18-year-old midfielder Jobe Bellingham. In recent years, the club has earned a reputation for signing highly-rated young players.

During the summer of 2023, Sunderland brought in just one player over the age of 23. Following a playoff campaign, fans expected the club to strengthen, but many new signings struggled to make an impact. The exception was Jobe Bellingham, the younger brother of Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham. After making 26 appearances for Birmingham City, his potential was evident, but he hadn’t yet secured a starting position.

Since joining Sunderland, Bellingham has featured 56 times and scored eight goals. Although he attracted interest from several clubs last summer, he silenced speculation by signing a new contract until 2028.

**How Much is Jobe Bellingham Worth?**

Last summer, Bellingham was linked with Premier League teams like Crystal Palace and Brentford. Before he extended his contract, Sunderland reportedly sought over £20 million for him. However, data from FootballTransfers suggests his estimated value is around €15.5 million, or about £13 million.

This valuation ranks Bellingham as Sunderland’s second most valuable player, trailing only loan signing Salis Abdul Samed, who is valued at €23.8 million (£19.9 million) despite not yet making his debut.

**More Than Just Jude’s Brother**

While some might assume Jobe Bellingham is only recognized for being Jude’s sibling, he has proven to be a talent in his own right. Last season, he played in all but one match for Sunderland and has shown significant improvement at the start of this year.

Under new manager Regis Le Bris, he has taken on a deeper box-to-box role and has played every minute so far this season. Bellingham is developing a strong partnership with fellow young midfielder Chris Rigg, making both players likely targets in upcoming transfer windows, especially if Sunderland remains in the Championship.
