After Tottenham’s 3-2 loss to Brighton a week and a half ago, Ange Postecoglou likely welcomed the international break. It wasn’t the dull pause typically expected, as the England camp provided plenty of excitement.
In an unexpected turn, the Three Lions suffered a defeat to Greece without their star player, Harry Kane. Lee Carsley, who initially didn’t want the interim role, is set to be replaced by Thomas Tuchel after his tenure ends. This raises questions about the future of several Tottenham players hoping to impress under Tuchel, particularly star striker Dominic Solanke. Can he step up and fill Kane’s shoes?
