“He’s completely ineffective, rated 4/10—worse than Kudus and should be dropped immediately,” said a pundit, criticizing a disastrous West Ham player who had a poorer performance than Kudus against Tottenham.

Mohamed Kudus gave West Ham an early lead in the 18th minute, but Dejan Kulusevski equalized in the 36th minute, leaving the score tied at halftime.
In the second half, Tottenham dominated, scoring three times—once from Yves Bissouma, another from Heung-min Son, and an own goal credited to Alphonse Areola. To worsen the situation, Kudus was sent off for violent conduct in the 86th minute.
Despite his dismissal, Kudus was one of West Ham’s standout players, and his absence will be felt as he will miss three Premier League matches, including the next against Manchester United.
Kudus has made ten appearances this season, netting two goals and providing one assist. After a slow start, he has found form, scoring in consecutive matches. He had a strong performance against Spurs, registering four shots on target and winning nine ground duels, but his red card overshadowed his contributions.
Conversely, Jean-Clair Todibo had a disappointing match, earning a 4/10 rating. He was involved in two of Tottenham’s goals—one leading to Areola’s own goal and another allowing Son a clear shot in the box. Although Todibo has made seven appearances this season, fans will expect better, especially after his crucial errors against Spurs. Despite some decent defensive stats, his mistakes were pivotal in the game, and he may need to be replaced in the starting lineup.
