Daniel Levy leaves Tottenham fans ‘furious’ after latest controversial decision

Daniel Levy has once again angered supporters following the announcement of ticket prices for upcoming UEFA Europa League matches against Roma and Elfsborg at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Levy, known for generating significant revenue for the club, often does so at the expense of the fans, a sentiment echoed by recent ticketing details revealed on October 25.

For the match against Roma on November 28, ticket prices have been set according to Category C, with the cheapest adult ticket costing £38, while most seats will range from £48 to £62. Additionally, season ticket holders will see charges for both matches automatically applied on October 30, three months prior to the Elfsborg game on January 30.

This decision has left the Tottenham Hotspur Supporters’ Trust stating that fans are “furious.” While a few tickets for the Roma match are priced at £38, the majority will be significantly higher, which many consider excessive for a Europa League fixture.

Moreover, scheduling ticket sales for a January match at the end of October disregards fans’ need for time to plan their attendance. This situation highlights the club’s tendency to leverage fans’ loyalty for financial gain.

As frustrations mount, supporters are increasingly calling for Levy’s departure, especially amid speculation about potential investments in the club. For now, however, it seems fans will have to continue enduring the controversial chairman’s decisions.

In other news, Tottenham and Chelsea are reportedly interested in signing an Arsenal player in a multi-million transfer deal.
