“I discovered Sunderland are very Dangerous and Strong but we’ve identified their weakness and have STRATEGY to TRASH them down”-NEIL Harris Savage reaction as Mind-Blowing Millwall Transformation sends Shockwaves to Sunderland ahead of upcoming clash
Neil Harris described Sunderland as a “dangerous” team but insisted that Millwall would look to “impose” their own style of play when the two sides meet at The Den tomorrow.
Sunderland, currently top of the league, are unbeaten in their last eight matches, although they have drawn their last three. Millwall, on the other hand, have been impressive at home, securing victories over top-four teams Burnley and Leeds before the international break.
Harris acknowledged Sunderland’s quality but expressed confidence in Millwall’s ability to challenge them.
“Sunderland like to control possession and are dangerous in various areas of the game,” Harris said. “They’re strong on set pieces in both boxes and excellent in transition, breaking quickly. They have a clear identity with their 4-3-3 formation and some real individual threats.
“We know it will be a tough challenge, facing the team at the top of the Championship, who are aiming for promotion. Defensively, we’ll need to be very organized and hard to break down, just as we have been. That’s what I expect from my teams, especially when playing at The Den.
“However, we also have strengths that can cause Sunderland problems. While stopping the opponent is important, we’ll be looking to play on the front foot, continuing our strong form at home, and aiming to impose ourselves on the game.”
