For Anthony Elanga, it was a sense of déjà vu as he scored for the second consecutive week, helping Forest secure their third straight victory. Brian Laws praised Nuno Espirito Santo’s tactical change, which allowed Forest to become the only team to take all three points at Brentford in the 2024/25 season.

Elanga’s Performance as Forest Beat Brentford
It was a productive afternoon for Elanga, as Espirito Santo decided to start both of his wingers, opting for an extra defender. Elanga played on the right wing, putting in a solid performance and earning his second goal of the season.
Some of the criticism of Elanga’s form had been somewhat harsh, but as a young player, he naturally experiences highs and lows. Fortunately, Elanga is supported by Espirito Santo and is clearly gaining confidence from the backing of his manager.
