What was RVN thinking?” Buonanotte, with six goal contributions in the Premier League, has been one of Leicester’s most creative players this season. His benching in favor of Jordan Ayew—who has struggled since joining from Crystal Palace—left many perplexed. Ayew was criticized as ‘lazy’ after his performance against Brighton, and he failed to make an impact again in the Wolves match.
Given Ayew’s poor statistics in the game, van Nistelrooy will likely face serious scrutiny as he prepares his side for the upcoming trip to Liverpool on Boxing Day.
