Jack Harrison Must Be Let Go
Dyche signed Harrison from relegated Leeds in August 2023 on a loan deal that was extended into the 2024/25 season. Harrison has made 54 appearances for Everton but has only contributed seven goals and assists. This season, he has yet to register any goal contributions in 17 Premier League matches.
Harrison’s performances have been criticized, with one writer describing him as “abysmal” in his decision-making. He also received a poor 4/10 rating from The Liverpool Echo after the Forest loss, with the correspondent pointing out his lack of confidence and conviction.
Considering Harrison’s reported £90k per week salary, it seems unlikely Everton will pursue a permanent deal for him, especially when his wages are significantly higher than those of promising young player Jarrad Branthwaite (£35k per week).
Branthwaite has been a standout performer this season, with five clean sheets in 11 Premier League appearances and an impressive 81% success rate in ground duels, earning praise as one of the Premier League’s best centre-backs.
