Wolves boosted their Premier League survival chances with a 1-1 draw against Everton, moving six points clear of the relegation zone.
With Matheus Cunha serving the first match of his suspension, Marshall Munetsi scored his maiden goal for Wolves, leveling the game after Jack Harrison had put Everton ahead.

Speaking on TNT Sports after the game, Cole pointed to the absence of financial backing, suggesting that Wolves have been “treading water” in recent years.
“I don’t know what’s happened behind the scenes, but it seems like the investment has been pulled back, and the club has been stuck in a holding pattern for a few years now,” Cole said.
While acknowledging the club’s struggles, Cole praised Wolves’ loyal fanbase for their continued support, despite the challenging circumstances.
“They have one of the loudest and most passionate fanbases in the league, and they deserve clarity and a sense of direction.
They’ve stuck by their team tonight, and that’s something to be proud of.”
Joe Cole Confident Wolves Will Avoid Relegation
The draw against Everton moves Wolves a step closer to securing their top-flight status, especially with rivals Ipswich losing to Crystal Palace earlier on Saturday.
Leicester will play Chelsea on Sunday, with both clubs needing to close the six-point gap to move ahead of Wolves.
Cole believes Wolves are playing well enough to stay up, adding that any point at this stage of the season is valuable in keeping the teams below them at bay.
“Every point counts at this stage, especially when it helps create distance between you and the teams below,” Cole said.
“They’re playing well enough to stay up, and while it would be exciting for the league and the neutrals to see a tight relegation battle, I believe Wolves will continue to pick up enough points to stay clear.”
Next weekend, Wolves have a chance to create more space between themselves and the relegation zone when they face bottom-of-the-table Southampton.
