“Deal Sealed”- Wolves favourite fan Star set to exit as transfer deal already reached, Vitor Pereira had hoped for more from him, but now his departure from Wolves has been ‘confirmed’

As the summer transfer window nears, Vitor Pereira is preparing for significant changes within his Wolves squad.

Already, the team looks different from the one that Gary O’Neil managed, with Pereira overseeing the departure of former captain Mario Lemina.

This marks Pereira’s first major sale as Wolves manager, and it could be the start of a busy transfer period, as several players are attracting interest ahead of the window.

Matheus Cunha is expected to leave, but that’s not the only transfer situation Wolves must manage, as one of their stars is now said to have reached an agreement with another club.

Pablo Sarabia Set for Sevilla Return

In addition to players Wolves can sell for profit, there are others whose contracts are set to expire at the end of the season.

Nelson Semedo is reportedly wanted by Benfica, despite Pereira wanting to keep the defender, while Pablo Sarabia is another player whose time at Molineux appears to be coming to an end.

Reports suggest that Sarabia will leave Wolves due to his high wages, and his next destination looks to be confirmed. According to Vamos Mi Sevilla, La Liga giants Sevilla have reached a ‘closed agreement’ with the Wolves forward to return to the club this summer.

The Spanish outlet claims that sources close to Sarabia confirm the deal has already been settled, with the 32-year-old preparing to become a free agent.

Two factors make the move feasible: Sarabia’s free agent status and his desire to return to Sevilla.

Sarabia has been used sporadically by Pereira this season and is expected to depart after just one year at Molineux, following his 2023 move from Paris Saint-Germain.

Vitor Pereira Wants More from Sarabia

While Sarabia’s time at Wolves has divided opinion, his creative ability on his best days will be missed once he leaves.

Pereira has been firm with the player, urging him to elevate his performances as Wolves fight to secure Premier League safety.

Pereira has called on Sarabia and Goncalo Guedes to compete for their spots in the squad, demanding higher levels of performance from both.

“We need to bring in players who can compete and bring out the best in everyone.

Pablo Sarabia and Goncalo Guedes know they have competition for their places,” said Pereira.

It looks as though Pereira will only work with Sarabia for a short time, as the 32-year-old seems to have already set his sights on a return to Sevilla.
