According to CalcioMercato, Wolves are interested in signing Roma striker Tammy Abraham, who is also reportedly being monitored by Everton and West Ham United. Roma spent £34 million (per Transfermarkt) to bring Abraham to the Italian capital, but he is currently on loan at AC Milan.
Abraham, 27, began his career at Chelsea, having loan spells at Bristol City, Swansea City, and Aston Villa to gain experience. He eventually made the breakthrough into Chelsea’s first team before making a permanent move to Roma in 2021. His long-term future at Roma is now uncertain, and Wolves are reportedly keen on securing his services. Abraham is set to return to Chelsea at the end of the season, and the club will have to decide his future.
Vitor Pereira’s Thoughts on Everton Draw
Following Wolves’ draw with Everton, Pereira praised his players, saying: “I’m very proud of my players. We played a very consistent game against a difficult team. We tried everything to win, and in the second half, we had a period of playing in offensive midfield, creating chances and stopping counterattacks. With this spirit, I’m very confident.”
He added, “I like to see a team working together, running together in attack and defense, with personality and confidence. Today, I saw everything. We showed everything. Of course, I’m not happy with the result, but in the end, one point can be important.”
Looking ahead to the Southampton match, he emphasized: “It’s very important, but that’s because it’s the next game. When people talk about finals, if you carry that responsibility, it can be a problem. In my experience, I prefer to think one game at a time. We got one point today and we’ve got three points before against big teams. We could lose to a team at the bottom or win against a team at the top—that’s what happens in this league. That’s why this league is the best in the world.”
