In an interview with journalist Venê Casagrande, Boto made it clear that Alcaraz will likely leave Flamengo for England, regardless of whether it’s with Everton or another club.
“I can’t predict the future, but I’m convinced he’ll stay in England,” Boto said. “Whether at Everton or another club, we’ve had inquiries from other teams since he arrived in England.”
He continued: “He’s an excellent player for that type of game, and I think it’s unlikely he’ll return to Flamengo because he’ll certainly have a market in the Premier League.”
Boto also stressed the differences in playing styles, noting, “For me, Flamengo is much better than 70% of the teams in the Premier League, but the style of play at Flamengo is very different from what most Premier League teams play.”

Everton fans will be hoping for a smooth working relationship between Moyes and the Friedkin Group, but any hesitation could sour the situation.
