However, he faced criticism from Jon Newsome, who told BBC Radio Leeds that Guilavogui isn’t fit to start for Leeds.
“He’s not at this level to play 90 minutes. He’s useful for the last five or 10 minutes to provide cover, win headers, and support the centre-backs. But Guilavogui’s cameo performances aren’t enough for him to start.”

Guilavogui is fully aware of his role as a backup player and has expressed his willingness to contribute both on and off the pitch.
His experience brings valuable leadership to a young Leeds squad, and his versatility in both defense and midfield offers important depth.
While he may not be suited to start regularly for Leeds, he certainly deserves more credit than Newsome’s harsh assessment suggests.
