Leeds United secured another crucial three points on Friday night with a hard-fought 1-0 win over Oxford United, keeping the pressure on in the Championship promotion race.
With both Burnley and Sheffield United claiming victories earlier in the day, Daniel Farke’s men knew they couldn’t afford to slip up. Oxford made a strong start, pressing Leeds aggressively in the opening stages, but their intensity eventually faded as Leeds began to assert control.
The breakthrough came just after the 30-minute mark. Jayden Bogle surged down the right and delivered a pinpoint pass across goal, which Manor Solomon confidently tucked away. Leeds dictated much of the second half but were unable to find a second goal, and had to hold firm under late pressure to secure the win.

Worked tirelessly on the left, balancing defensive duties with attacking runs. Whipped in several dangerous crosses and made key clearances.
