In the second half, with the game slowing, the travelling Leeds supporters directed their attention toward the car park, chanting, “Car park, give us a song.” From the reactions, it seemed the fans got the response they wanted, with chants and laughter echoing around the stadium.

Burnley continued their remarkable unbeaten streak earlier on Friday with a 2-1 win away at Watford, holding firm in second place. In the evening’s other fixture, Sheffield United earned a much-needed 2-0 victory over Cardiff City, snapping a three-game losing streak.
As things stand, Leeds will need Sheffield United to drop points against Burnley on Monday and win their own match to secure promotion.

Oxford came out strong, testing Karl Darlow early with a save just six minutes in. But Leeds soon settled into the game, finding the breakthrough thanks to a slick move finished by Solomon.
Despite not adding a second, Leeds held firm, with Joe Rodon making several key defensive plays in the closing stages. His efforts didn’t go unnoticed.
