Nottingham Forest are preparing for a significant squad overhaul this summer, with several new arrivals and departures expected in the transfer window.

Saudi Arabian Clubs Eye Forest’s Jota Silva
According to The Express, Saudi Arabian sides have expressed interest in Forest’s Jota Silva, who had a limited role in his debut season in England.
The 25-year-old made 31 Premier League appearances during the 2024/25 season, but 26 of those were off the bench. He was largely behind Hudson-Odoi and Elanga in Nuno’s attacking hierarchy.
Silva managed to score three goals in the league and, while occasionally inconsistent, showed flashes of promise as an impact substitute when Forest needed a spark late in games.
With UEFA Conference League fixtures ahead next season, Silva—who earns £25,000 per week—might be given another chance to prove his worth at the City Ground.
Time to Cash In?
While Silva has offered some utility as a substitute, Forest may need more reliable and impactful options off the bench in the 2025/26 campaign.
Though he’s shown moments of ability in domestic and potential European competitions, his overall Premier League contributions have been limited.
Given that Silva cost Forest around £6 million, a sale wouldn’t represent a significant financial risk.
If a formal offer does arrive from Saudi Arabia, the club would be wise to give it serious consideration as part of their wider squad revamp.
