Although Kudus had a solid debut season with West Ham, his performances were inconsistent at times—a criticism rarely directed at Eze. The Palace playmaker appears ready to take the next step in his career, and such opportunities to land a Premier League-proven star of his calibre don’t come often.
Eze’s Release Clause Makes Him Even More Accessible
Eze reportedly has a £60 million release clause, which Tottenham could pay in instalments. In fact, the cost of signing Kudus may end up being similar—raising further questions about Spurs’ strategy in the market.
If Frank truly values tactical intelligence, creativity, and consistency, then Eze should be his priority. His talent is worth the effort, and his arrival would likely be felt from day one.
As it stands, Tottenham could be preparing an offer for the wrong London rival—and missing out on a player who could define their midfield for years to come.
