According to Sky Sports, Crystal Palace is one of two Premier League clubs interested in signing a new forward valued at £35m.
**Crystal Palace Summer Signings So Far**
Sporting director Dougie Freedman and chairman Steve Parish have been working behind the scenes to prepare for Oliver Glasner’s first full season in charge at Selhurst Park. To date, centre-back Chadi Riad is the only signing, joining after an impressive loan spell with Real Betis.
Next in line to officially join is Daichi Kamada. The Japanese attacking midfielder will become a free agent in early July after leaving Lazio and has reportedly signed a two-year deal with Palace.
However, Palace will lose Michael Olise, who is set to join Bayern Munich in a deal exceeding £50m. It is believed that Club Brugge forward Antonio Nusa, valued at £25m, could be Olise’s replacement. Additionally, Sunderland’s Jobe Bellingham, the younger brother of Jude Bellingham, is another primary target, as stated by Fabrizio Romano.
Alongside Bellingham and Nusa, Palace is also eyeing another attacking option.
**Crystal Palace Interested in Emile Smith-Rowe – Sky Sports**
Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth revealed on Wednesday evening that Crystal Palace is interested in signing Emile Smith-Rowe from Arsenal this summer.
“We understand that several Premier League clubs, including Fulham and Crystal Palace, are interested in Arsenal forward Emile Smith-Rowe. He is very popular at the club, both with the staff and the fans, especially as an academy product. However, he has started just three Premier League games in the last two seasons and is seeking regular first-team football. If a suitable offer comes in, Arsenal would seriously consider it. Formal approaches for Smith-Rowe are expected in the coming weeks.”
Reports suggest that Arsenal could seek around £35m for Smith-Rowe, potentially making him Palace’s most expensive signing ever. Smith-Rowe has made 115 senior appearances for Arsenal, scoring 18 goals and providing 13 assists. He has also had loan spells with RB Leipzig and Huddersfield Town but may now be considering a permanent move.
