JUST IN"- Everton 'target' who is up for sale breaks silence over transfer links

Chelsea are reportedly open to selling Armando Broja. The striker has confirmed that he has received offers to leave Chelsea during the summer transfer window.

Broja has been widely rumored to be leaving Stamford Bridge. He spent the second half of last season on loan at Fulham and had a successful loan spell at Southampton in the 2021-22 season, scoring nine goals in 38 appearances.

Everton are one club interested in Broja, having shown interest two summers ago, especially with Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s future at the club uncertain as he has just a year remaining on his contract. The Guardian has indicated that the 22-year-old is “up for sale” and there is “strong interest” from Everton. Additionally, Premier League rivals Wolves, along with Italian clubs AC Milan and Bologna, have been mentioned as potential suitors.

Broja, who played for Albania at Euro 2024, told RTV Klan (via Calciomercato) that there is also interest from Germany. He also mentioned that staying at Chelsea, where his contract runs until 2028, is another possibility.

Broja said: “I would tell him (Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Milan senior advisor) first of all that I am a big fan of his, I have always liked him as a player.

“Milan is a great club, second only to Real Madrid in history. I would tell him that I have to speak to my agent and family, then I will let him know.

“It’s true, I have offers from these three leagues (Serie A, Bundesliga, Premier League). Staying at Chelsea? It’s an option, as I still have a long-term contract with them.”
