The Crystal Palace center-half has been instrumental for the Three Lions, with his defensive prowess keeping England in the tournament. England will miss Guehi on Saturday against Switzerland, but before that, he spoke to the national team’s media about his ongoing rivalry with Conor Gallagher.

In the latest episode of Diary Entries on England’s official X account, Guehi watched a previous episode where Gallagher mentioned he was leading 3-2 in their daily challenges. Guehi updated the score: “Little update on that actually, it is 7-3 to me.”
Guehi explained that the competitions started with various games, but now they focus mainly on table tennis, where he’s been consistently defeating Gallagher.
Keeping Guehi at Palace is proving increasingly difficult. Despite the club’s desire to retain him, heavy interest from top Premier League sides and his stellar performance at the Euros have raised his profile and value. Guehi is reportedly attracting interest from Real Madrid and Barcelona, which is a testament to his exceptional talent.
If Palace can keep Guehi, manager Oliver Glasner will have one of the best defenders in the world at his disposal.
