"Absolutely"- A £16m Serie A attacking ace responds after Everton secures the transfer of Jesper Lindstrom.

Everton secured the signing of Napoli winger Jesper Lindstrom on Friday, making him Sean Dyche’s third addition of the summer. The Danish winger joins Tim Iroegbunam and Illman Ndiaye at Goodison Park, alongside Jack Harrison, who has returned on loan from Leeds United for a second spell.

Lindstrom has expressed his excitement about playing at Goodison Park and hinted at experiencing the club’s new Bramley-Moore Dock stadium. With Everton needing wingers, the arrival of the 24-year-old was timely as the 2024/25 season approached.

After the transfer, Lindstrom received messages of support on Instagram, including one from Leicester City goalkeeper Mads Hermansen. Former teammate Cyril Ngonge, who was signed for £16 million in January, also praised Lindstrom, calling him a “Big Player.” With such endorsements, expectations will be high for Lindstrom to deliver.

Meanwhile, Sean Dyche is focusing on strengthening the defense, particularly with Jarrad Branthwaite’s future uncertain. According to Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Everton has agreed on a fee for Lyon centre-back Jake O’Brien. A medical could happen as soon as Sunday, pending agreement on personal terms with the Republic of Ireland international. Ensuring adequate defensive cover behind James Tarkowski and Branthwaite was essential, and it seems the Toffees are close to finalizing this crucial signing.
