Bryan King has urged Farhad Moshiri to step down as Everton chairman, criticizing his “shocking” treatment of manager Sean Dyche. The former Goodison Park scout expressed disbelief at how Dyche has been treated despite his contributions to the club. According to a report by Alan Myers via X (22 July), a consortium led by former LA Dodgers General Manager Kevin Malone is planning another takeover bid at Everton.
In an exclusive interview with Goodison News, King suggested that someone else should handle the negotiations. He stated, “If this consortium is serious and can resolve the current financial issues, it could be a solution. However, the way these matters have been handled has been poor. Moshiri either needs to fix things or step aside and let someone else address the issues.”
King emphasized that fans should be more focused on the team’s performance rather than off-field issues. He stressed the need for stability and financial assurances for the club. He also condemned the way Moshiri and the club have treated Dyche, calling it “utterly shocking” after all Dyche has done for Everton.
