Once Largie Ramazani’s signing is officially confirmed today, attention will shift to Leeds United’s next move in the transfer market.
Ramazani will finally end Leeds’ more than month-long wait for a new signing, but he must be just the beginning of a significant recruitment drive leading up to the August 30 deadline.
The 23-year-old is expected to be one of two attackers Leeds bring in over the next eight days, with finding a replacement for Georginio Rutter being the next priority.
Daniel Farke has also indicated interest in strengthening the full-back and central midfield positions, a priority he identified as early as Leeds’ second pre-season friendly this summer.

Leeds targeting Spurs’ Manor Solomon

According to Sport5, Leeds are now turning to the Premier League loan market for their next signing, with Tottenham Hotspur’s Manor Solomon on their radar.
Reports indicate that Spurs have already decided to loan out Solomon in the coming days, as he spent most of last season sidelined due to injury.
Solomon has received offers from abroad, but he reportedly prefers to stay in England, with Leeds being one of the top candidates to secure his services.
The 25-year-old, nicknamed a ‘pocket rocket’ by Jamie Redknapp on Sky Sports due to his explosive pace, primarily plays on the left wing, which suggests that Wilfried Gnonto might need to depart if Solomon joins.
Who is Leeds’ new target Manor Solomon?
As mentioned, Solomon would be an unconventional choice following Ramazani, but there’s no doubt he would be a significant addition at this level.
Solomon boasts extensive Champions League experience from his time at Shakhtar Donetsk, where he scored 22 goals in 106 appearances.
He then spent the 2022/23 season on loan at Fulham, where he had a decent spell, scoring five goals, including one in a 2-0 FA Cup win against Leeds.
After joining Spurs on a free transfer last summer, Solomon’s time at the club has been marred by injuries, so he’s now at a point where he needs regular playing time.
