**Huge Setback: Tottenham Hotspur Faces Another Major Challenge That Could Lead to Defeat Against Everton**

Tottenham is facing an early-season setback as new signing Dominic Solanke will miss the upcoming Premier League match against Everton due to an ankle injury.

Last season, Spurs struggled with injuries, with over 20 players sidelined throughout the campaign, which derailed their promising start. Ange Postecoglou had hoped for a more injury-free season, but the situation remains challenging.

Rodrigo Bentancur also picked up an injury in their Premier League opener. While the injury is less severe than initially feared, he will be out for the Everton match.

In a further blow, summer signing Dominic Solanke is now sidelined with an ankle injury sustained during the Leicester game. Postecoglou confirmed that Solanke’s injury worsened after the match, ruling him out of the Everton game.

In a press conference ahead of the Everton match, Postecoglou explained: “Dom [Solanke] picked up a knock in the last game. He managed to play through it, but it flared up the following day, and he’ll miss tomorrow’s game. It’s an ankle injury he sustained early on in the game.”

Postecoglou added that Solanke’s return depends on his recovery, though he noted it is not a serious issue and the upcoming international break might aid his rehabilitation.

With Solanke unavailable, Postecoglou might shift Dejan Kulusevski to the central forward role. Kulusevski demonstrated his potential in this position during pre-season, including scoring twice against Bayern Munich, which could provide a much-needed boost to Spurs’ attack.
